Dragon's Peak A mountain that is treacherous in snow and in heat, all who want to become dragon riders come here to be granted an egg by the spirits of the dragons. To get to the top, they must hike the three-thousand step path, lined by evergreens and underbrush. Beware of wolves and foxes on this mountain, as there have been many aspiring riders who have not made it back with an egg.

Morgana This is a relatively small, river-side town that is of human creation. This is the biggest manufacturer of weapons, armor, and horses. If you are looking for a job, this is the place to go. It is almost always cloudy here, and it rains a lot of the time. The river that divides the town is narrow but deep, and small levees have been built to prevent it from tearing into the structure of the settlement itself.

Ederra This coastal city is bordering on the shores of a bit of sea that comes toward inland. Ederra is the mecca of trade in the human civilization, and it flourishes with merchants and traders galore. There are many inns here, as to house all the people that come, and they have festivals almost weekly to celebrate the dragons and their riders.

Turgus This landlocked metropolis is the largest settlement of all the human made cities. The population here is almost out of control, as their doors are open to everyone, but lately they seem to be running out of houses. The inns are large and almost always packed, though they seem to find spare rooms. This city's prime export is their exotic fruits, fabrics, and clothing.

Naja's End The largest of the elven cities; Naja's End plays home to the biggest parts of the elves culture. Located deep in a vast expanse of forest, where the trees grow hundreds of feet tall, this city holds most of the elven population and is where most of those in the other elven towns and cities eventually end up.
In the middle of the city is a huge palace, inside which reside the monarch and all those of high rank in the government. The buildings around that are the center of commerce, with just about every sort of going-on you could think of. Outside those building are the residences, varying from being made out of the trees or built independantly. The whole city's layout works in rings, with easy transport from one to the other or from spot to spot in the same ring. |

Myrkan This city is the next main one after Naja's End. It is much more natural in that even though most of the main city is built from nature, Myrkan is built in to nature. It is mostly a residential city, with only the business essential to keep a city on the map. It holds almost as many elves as Naja's End, even though it is a good deal smaller. The houses are high up in the trees, fitting snugly in between the branches. If you were to walk under almost any tree in Myrkan and were to look up, you would see a network of footbridges and sometimes all purpose bridges connecting each building to every one around it. There are also stairs leading up in the trunks of the larger trees to access this network from the ground.

Vrist The smallest of the main cities created by the elves, it is barely large enough to be on the map. One would hardly see a difference between it and the smaller encampments made by wandering bands of elves, but since it is located on the shores of a lake it has become a surprisingly influential center of trade. The people there produce fine products that others in different regions desire, and are more than willing to make exchanges with any merchant who might wander up the river. It is still a relatively new city, and will grow in size rather rapidly as time goes on.
The building vary in distance from the water, with some being as far as a mile or two away, and some close enough that the waves lap at the boards of the foundation when the tide rolls in. There are docks and many small boats that most of the people use on a daily basis. |

Eastern Ocean The golden sands of the beaches of the Eastern Ocean are always glistening with the reflection of the sun. The waters are always a deep royal blue. This portion of the ocean holds the most beautiful coral reef in all of the ocean, and some underwater caves as well. Friendly in contrast to her sister, the Western Ocean, these shores are always expecting visitors.

Golden Meadows Hills upon hills of waves of golden grain and grass lie here in peace. Flowers and trees sprout up from random places throughout, with some fields of wildflowers and some clusters of deciduous trees. No matter where you go in this land, the ground is always sun kissed, and the game is always abundant.

Indigo Lake - 1 ViewingA beautiful lake surrounded at every angle by lush trees and underbrush lies here. The waters of the lake are mysteriously warm during the cold months, and cool during the hot months. A dip in this lake is always refreshing. An oasis, in the middle of plains, this is the perfect hideaway for dragons.

The Plains Miles and miles of vast plains lie here. There are subtle, rolling hills and green grass everywhere the eye looks. Sometimes, one might come across a field of flowers or a patch of trees. You can also find some fruit trees and berry bushes, as well as abundant game to hunt. It is like a paradise for both dragons and riders.

Blood Valley This valley in the middle of the Massacre Mountains is always overcast by the shadows of the mountains and the clouds that loom overhead. It was given its name after the many bloody battles between dragons and riders alike, and there is a myth that those battles are why the grass always grows red. Some small game roams into the valley, but it is hardly enough to live off of.

Massacre Mountains These uninviting mountains received their ominous name for a reason. It is almost impossible for riders to trek here alone, as the mountains are made of steep cliffs and unstable ledges. Only dragons would be able to fly to the mountains' treacherous peaks, and game is scarce here. Only the toughest of evergreens stay on the mountainsides. This is a place only for the adventurous.

Shadow Caves Located at the base of the Massacre Mountains, this labyrinth of caves dips down underground for nearly two miles. The caves spread out underneath the mountains for many more miles, and it is always dark. Every so often in the maze of tunnels and caves, there is a small but deep pond of water with glowing cave fish. The deeper down you go, the more biolumenescent the fish, fungi and lichens become, and it turns into a mysterious glowing wonderland.

Western Ocean More malicious than the Eastern Ocean, the black sands on the shores of the Western Ocean are rather uninviting. The waters are a sickly grey, and filled with venomous and carnivorous fish. However, some of these fish and even the sand itself can be harvested and used in medicines and remedies. This part of the ocean goes deeper than its eastern counterpart, getting darker and more biolumenescent as it goes down. This ocean is only for those who can handle it.

Spiral Jungle Deep within the desert surrounding it, there is an expansive tropical jungle that is lush and green with life. It is called the Spiral Jungle because of the tendency it has to get both people and dragons completely lost. The game is plentiful here, though those who hunt have to compete with the jaguars and leopards that roam around the jungle. This is an adventurous place to go.

Dragonsdeath Desert This desert's ominous name doesn't lie. Miles and miles of nothing but golden sand and dunes make up the part of the dragons' territories with the most dry heat. During the day, even a dragon could lay down, dehydrated, to die. However, the dragons that live here have made underground burrows to sleep in during the light hours, and only come out at night when the sands are cool, and the desert is full of life.

The Gods' Territory This world is in another dimension entirely, unreachable by living humans, elves and dragons alike. This, however, is the home of the gods and goddesses of the living world, and the lands here are what is known as the afterlife. The souls of the dead travel here to be with their deities, and reside along side them for all of eternity. Or at least until they're reincarnated.
