Nicole ran up to the tree that holds the great Hall of Kings. In this hall, many people were designated to be the Forest Elves' kings. The honor of being chosen was never given to the Haley kin. As this was, Nicole was hopeful that she could make something of herself. She flipped up into the branches that supported the Balcony of Crowning. It was here that she started her morning Free-run. Nicole arched her back and ran up the side of the trunk. The distance was only four miles total, yet it was always hard for her to get anyone else to join the run. At the next branch, Kole grabbed the branch and spun around. She flipped up into the air ten feet above the balcony. Her next stop was a small ledge. She ran across the ledge and jumped onto another tree. Two miles into the run, many smaller creatures were following her. The joy of running through the canopy was huge. Kole slid across a vine and into a smaller room. The end of the track was just ahead. Nicole scaled the wall by kick flipping up it and through an entrance into a bunker. Nicole grabbed her leather armor and pulled it on over her tunic and leggings. Her braid flipped over her shoulder when Nicole pulled on her bow and sheathe of arrows. Nicole strapped her sword to her hip. Her next move was to exit and go to the Dragon Temple. Maybe they would grant her a dragon egg.
