Kole walked through the giant arch that guards the treacherous path up the mountain. Bones and other remains from dead warriors litter the path as Kole hiked past with her bow out. An arrow sat upon the string for safety and comfort. Wolves howled when a new scent hit their noses. One particular wolf, a large hunter, charged forth to kill her. Kole released the arrow and watched as the barbed shaft sunk between the wolves eyes. Kole decided to be safe and drew her sword and put her bow back in the sheathe. Her feet pounded as she increased her speed to a very quick jog. Dodging trees became difficult, yet the female elf refused to lower her speed. Why did this seem like such a big mistake? Large birds of prey swooped down at the aspiring rider as she tried to evade her attackers. The trees began to thin and light began to show through the branches. A large temple with great pillars holding the roof up stood in front of Kole. She walked through the two goliath dragon statues. Oh great spirits. I am Nicole Alicia Haley of the forest Elves. My request is for a chance to prove our mettle. I beseech of thee, could you accept my request for a dragon hatchling? Kole sank to her knees and raised her head to see the ruling dragon's statue.
