Internal
Personality;; Aislinn is a generous goddess. She watches over her followers and gives them peaceful dream at night. Those on her good side love her and would do nearly anything for her. Having a good night’s rest and waking up feeling refreshed is a nice thing to have, after all.
She is knowing and, as such, knows the hopes and dreams of those she comes in contact with. Once Aislinn is aware of someone, she immediately knows their hopes and dreams – which has, on more than one occasion, caused her to not be able to ever be friends or even acquaintances with someone. They have felt she violated their privacy – they being other gods and goddesses. The deepest desires and dreams of one person are, in fact, extremely personal. On the other hand, she has been able to feel deep empathy and has been able to help some people to make their dreams come true. A dream coming “true,” of course, is only a matter of perspective. She is the goddess of dreams, but she is also the goddess of illusion.
Although, Aislinn is generous, she also holds grudges and gets even when she feels necessary. Getting even could be years, decades, or even centuries later, but undoubtedly, she will get her revenge. Many people who have rubbed her the wrong way have been led to believe their dreams came true, only to hit a solid wall of reality. Not only that, but some have literally went to sleep and had a nightmare, which she caused, that caused them to not be able to sleep for the rest of their lives…(An extreme lack of sleep can kill someone). Along those lines, she has been known to be more malicious than some of the other gods and goddesses, as she has caused people to kill themselves, rather than doing it herself. As the goddess of imagination, there are really no limits to what she can think of to get back at someone or to help someone.
Those that follow her are often painters, musicians, actors, and other creative activists or “dreamers,” as some would call them. When they die, they join her in her own piece of the Afterlife.
