I gaze upon dear lands empty
A home it was, for which I fought
An age has dusked, I take my leave
But all will be with me in thought
I've seen dawns, seen gods arise
Seen prosperity come
But void haunted it ever on
And life again is gone
If comes a day when life returns
I may return as well
Calling words I may then heed
But until then, farewell
