Appearance

Pelt;; Eridan's scales are a brilliant, shiny purple, a bold color with a hint of pink in them. They shimmer both in the sun and in the moonlight, in the water as well.
Eyes;; Eridan's eyes are a little darker purple than his scales, more of a deep violet than a pinkish-purple.
Height;; 6 feet at the shoulder.
Weight;; a lot
Build;; Sleek muscle, is very swift on land, and especially in the water. Is rather graceful in the air for a water dragon.
Extra;; The horns that sprout from Eridan's head are shaped a little like lightning bolts, and are extremely sharp. They would definitely hurt if he headbutted you.

Personality;; Eridan is quite complex in the way that he is, some of his attributes contradicting the others. It would take a very attentive person to learn everything about him. He is individualistic and strong, yet makes a great friend (when he can find one). His strong attributes contribute to him making a good leader, and he would most likely be the first to take action under stressful and testing circumstances. However, this positive trait can also turn into a bit of rebellion every once in a while, and he can be a very hard dragon to deal with.

Eridan doesn't really attach to others all that well, and is rather mistrusting of them. However, he can get lonely a lot, and wishes he had others to be with, hang out with, just talk to, etm. He has a tendency to drive other people away (not meaning to, of course, because he could always use more friends around) by being too detached or aloof about things, especially his relationship with said people. Others tend to think of him as a bit of a jerk, but it's really not all his fault. It takes him a split second to aspire to be close to a person, and possible years to actually trust them enough to get that close.

To the few people that he is close to, he tends to spill is heart out at the very mention of something that reminds him of personal problems. Some might call this 'emotional theatrics', but he just calls it being lonely and having no one to talk to. Eridan tends to push people to change their views and beliefs about various things to match that more to his liking, but he is not welcome to change at all. He tends to have problems in relationships because he demands his space and freedom, but a lot of the times, doesn't allow the partner theirs.
